Julie

Julie by August Strindberg, directed by Morgan Jay. Apart of Morgan's research, we were told specifically not to look into the play Julie by August Strindberg. Morgan gave us a series of questions related to different practitioners methods throughout a series of relentless rehearsals. This followed many different techniques in which I knew about however, had just not found the opportunity to use.

These techniques that Morgan showed us helped us to both build a reality surrounding us. What we could smell, taste, feel, see and hear all came into the equation for our characters. This ultimately would be help me get into character being off-stage and preparing to perform.

I will take this approach and use it as a lesson for future productions.
